Convict-built in 1825 as a luxurious gentleman's residence, Woodbridge on the Derwent is a unique blend of convict authenticity and contemporary elegance. Woodbridge on the Derwent is a grand three-level Georgian mansion on the banks of the Derwent River. It is located in the historic town of New Norfolk, approximately 25 minutes from Hobart and 40 minutes from the Airport.
The building is restored to the original floor plan. It contains nine unique and luxurious suites, each named after a person of significance in the building’s history, or after an architectural feature.
