A day at Moore River Cottage... Woken by the birds going about their morning business, my family start their day on the front verandah, sipping a warm drink and watching the waves roll in, dreaming of what to do today. Kayaking, picnic and the sandhills are the favourite option for this day and t the kayaks are included in the tariff. Breakfast done, picnic packed and down to the river we go, the whole family, and with a slight breeze on our backs, we paddle to the sandhills, 'the desert' as they are affectionately called by the locals. Sandboard under arm up we climb to the top, then slide down, having a competion to see who can get to the water and cross the river, then back up to the top again.
