Review - Russellee
By Sally Hobson

462 Wee Jasper Road Tumut NSW A welcoming B&B and farmstay that lets you enjoy the beauty of the area – and welcomes your pets too! Overall rating?    Outstanding What makes Rusellee different? This is a B&B and more… there is a cottage, a studio, a unit and the B&B itself.  All enjoy the spacious grounds and the peace and tranquillity of the bush surrounds – yet also have the convenience of being close to the snow and walking trails. Accommodation overview We stayed in the Rosella Suite, which sleeps four people.  There is a king-size bed (can be set up as twins), as well as a double.  The cottage ‘Kookaburra’ sleeps two, again with a king-size bed that can be used as two singles.  The B&B als... Review - Pender Lea Chalets
By Penny Parsons

Pender Lea Chalets Alpine Way, Thredbo Valley, Snowy Mountains New South Wales You’ll want to return time and again. Pender Lea Chalets are secluded, traditional Swiss-style chalets in gorgeous bush surrounds that give you the feeling of being close enough to the action, without always having to be in the thick of things.  It is just off the Alpine Way on a bush property that is also popular for horse-riding in the summer. Overall rating?  Good What makes Pender Lea different? I was traveling with six friends and the chalet was ideal for that, but would equally suit the family as an ideal place to stay for a ski holiday or a bush experience. The property consists of several self-contained chalets of differing configurations to cater for different needs. Accommo... Read more

Review - Yuranga
By Penny Parsons

Yuranga – Aboriginal for ‘extensive view’ Old Adaminaby, Snowy Mountains, NSW Yuranga is a large, comfortable log house, well situated on Old Adaminaby with expansive lake and countryside views. It is a great place just to chill out, or from where you can gain easy access to the lake and Mt Selwyn ski fields. Overall rating: Great with Excellent cleanliness What makes Yuranga different? No matter what the weather, Yuranga caters for it all – sit on the outside deck and swim in the lake in the summer, or cosy up in front of one of the two log fires in wintertime. With a TV in every bedroom and two lounge areas, the house is perfect for extended family or group getaways. Proximity to the lake make this a fisherman’s delight. Accommodation overview Three...
