The cottages are in a beautiful setting overlooking vineyards, looking towards the hills in the distance … and with all the little indulgences to make you feel really special.

Overall rating?    Excellent

What makes Eve’s Cottages different?
You are only a few steps from the vines, and the thoughtful touches such as real coffee, hot chocolate, rocky road and chocolates and fresh milk mean that you relax as soon as you step through the door.

Accommodation overview
There is one bedroom with a queen-size bed and a large adjoining bathroom with a deep claw-foot bath … the perfect place to unwind with a glass of local wine!  The open plan lounge/dining and kitchen area is very spacious and the covered deck means that you can enjoy the vineyards views in any weather.  There are two cottages on the property and both have the same layout.

Facilities overview
The bedroom and lounge overlook the vineyards and have a comforting sense of peace and quiet.  Attention to detail is clear in the quality of the furnishings and the inclusions such as an electric blanket, wood-fired heater (which is ready to light and has a generous supply of wood) and air-conditioning.  The covered deck has a BBQ – and once again enjoys the serenity of the rural vistas.  There are laundry facilities and guest parking.

Generous breakfast provisions are supplied, including bread, jams, a selection of cereals, yoghurt, juice, fresh eggs and tomatoes, baked beans and bacon.

Location
Just over an hour from Adelaide city or airport, take the A20 heading north from Adelaide..  Tanunda – one of the historic townships of the Barossa – is only two minutes away by car.

Suitable for children?    No

Suitable for pets?          No

Wheelchair access?      Possible as it is a spacious property, however there are no special facilities and there is a lip at the front door and into the shower.

Perfect for?
Eve’s Cottages are ideal for a couple, and as there are two separate properties, a great place to have a short break with friends, while still having the privacy of your own accommodation.

Why stay longer?
To relax in front of the wood fire, or laze out on the deck enjoying the serenity and gorgeous views.  The property is a perfect base for exploring the many historic villages and vineyards of the area.  The cottage is completely self-contained so you can shop locally and cook for yourself, or wander out to some of the fabulous local restaurants.

Why you wouldn’t stay longer?
You have to get back to work, your kids are missing you … or you miss the city nightlife!

Pricing
$165-180 per couple per night, with discounts available depending on length of stay.  Check the listing for current prices.
