Colgate Travel Essentials
  • Palmolive Shower Milk and Shampoo with Conditioner
  • Colgate Travel Essentials Pack

Product Review – Colgate Travel Essentials

This is perfect for travel – the zip lock bag is a compact 20x15cm and contains everything you need for oral care while you travel… and it complies with airline carry-on restrictions for liquids.

There are also travel-sized bottles of Palmolive Naturals Active Nourishment Shampoo, Milk & Honey Shower Milk – also travel compliant.

The Travel Essentials Pack contains 50gm of Colgate Maximum Cavity Protection toothpaste, 50ml of Colgate Plax mouthwash, a toothbrush and Total waxed floss.

I loved the conditioning shampoo – great lather, lovely smell and left my hair feeling clean and soft. The body milk is just lovely – gorgeous fragrance and my skin felt soft and nourished. Both bottles are 100ml, meaning they are certainly good for several uses or for several family members to use.

These are great quality products, perfectly sized for travel and they save you having to ‘decant’ products yourself into smaller containers. They are available from major suppliers such as Coles and Priceline and are affordable as well: both the shampoo and body wash retail for $1.99 and the Travel Essentials pack is just $6.99.

This really is the perfect travel kit… just keep it in the cupboard and throw it in your luggage or carry on bag – and the zip lock closure gives you peace of mind that your clothes won’t be covered in mouthwash, should an accident happen.

We loved it and would certainly purchase for future travel – an outstanding product that even the kids loved!

About the Author
Penny Parsons is CEO for TakeABreak.com.au

Penny loves to travel and it was this that led to the idea of TakeABreak.com.au. With many travellers looking for more than just a standard hotel experience, her objective was to provide them with access to as many different accommodation types as possible.

When searching for boutique accommodation such as B&Bs or holiday homes she also found the only option was calling local real estate agents or accessing local newspapers and information centres. This process was not only time consuming but sometimes yielded no results at all.

She felt there needed to be a more comprehensive yet easier, streamlined and convenient search option.

So in 2003, with 300 properties, the seed for Take A Break was sown.

I love keeping my travel toiletries separate so I can throw them in my bag but all is normal when I get home without having to unpack.
