City living at Larrakeyah Point - Penthouse
  • View from the balcony
  • Light-filled living area

Larrakeyah Point – Penthouse is ideal for an executive stay or holiday accommodation. Situated on the edge of Darwin city, with sea and golf course views, it provides a relaxing atmosphere for both workers and holiday-makers. It has easy access to the city – either by walking, private car, bus or taxi. For those who love a casino, it’s just five minute’s walk to take advantage of restaurants, gambling facilities and a great atmosphere.

Mitchell Street is the hub for Darwin’s nightlife, and is easily accessible from Larrakeyah Point – Penthouse. There is an abundance of restaurants, pubs, clubs and cafes down this strip, as well as a cinema – something for everyone! For those wanting a quieter and more soothing outing, head straight down the hill from Larrakeyah Point – Penthouse to Cullen Bay. Here you can enjoy a magnificent marina, with a variety of restaurants on the boardwalk.

Our favourite recommendation for a gastronomic outing: head to the city on Sunday morning and indulge in a “Tasty House” Yum Cha. “Tasty House” is located in the Darwin Mall (just head straight down Smith Street from Larrakeyah Point – Penthouse until you reach the mall - how easy is that?). You won’t be disappointed – the yum cha rivals any we have eaten in Asia.

The best thing about Larrakeyah Point – Penthouse? It’s close to the city, but it’s also close to everything that offers relaxation – the golf course, Cullen Bay, Mindil Markets and Mindil Beach, the museum, and the Cornucopia Restaurant at the Museum. The view over the golf course, treetops and out to the sea make you feel like you are miles from the city.

Larrakeyah Point – Penthouse is proud to be shortlisted in the city category of the 2010 TakeABreak Awards. Check out Larrakeyah Point – Penthouse on takeabreak.com.au.
