Cream Gables - a wonderful B&B experience
  • Serene and leafy outdoor area
  • The charm and domfort of Cream Gables

Staying at Cream Gables is unique as it top quality 4 star plus hosted accommodation and as host, I take great care to make sure that the guests have everything they need to make their stay a fantastic experience.

I go out of my way to let them know how to get to wherever they wish to go... I ring tourist companies for them, check all the buses and transport to help them find their way around Brisbane and most of all provide a fantastic breakfast experience, where they dine with other people from all over the world and just have lots of fun. They get to choose from an extensive breakfast menu which they can enjoy at any time they want and usually stay for hours because they are really enjoying the company.

Cream Gables is located in a fantastic position within walking distance to the Brisbane city, close to all transport and supermarket, pubs, restaurants and more are on the doorstep and yet it is a 'little haven in the city' and relaxing in the garden and around the pool is a quiet treat.

I have been nominated before in the TakeABreak Awards and have won the State Award for best accessible accommodation, and Cream Gables continues to be a wonderful place to stay for everyone and has maintained its status as quality accessible accommodation, too.

The accessible room has been enjoyed by many people, some with severe disabilities (quadraplegics, paraplegics, people in power chairs etc.) and they and their carers have all praised me for my attention to their needs and many have been return visitors. I go out of my way to make sure they can enjoy as much of Brisbane as possible.

Two recent comments probably sum up the Cream Gables experience:

"Thank you for making our stay in Brisbane so enjoyable - Cream Gables was not only as comfortable and convenient as we could have hoped for, it was FUN! Breakfast with you was an experience we will long remember and I suspect that future stays at B&Bs will be a disappointment by comparison. Hoping to see you again sometime."  Peter and Yvette

"Forget the rest, go for the best B&B in Brisbane! After six weeks and 4000 kilometres touring Queensland, by hire car, our last four day stop at Cream Gables proved to be an excellent choice. Anne is an entertaining host and while cooking her splendid breakfasts she offered lots of good advice to make our stay just perfect. Cream Gables is in a good location for restaurants, with all the attractions and local transport easily accessible. The rooms are all very comfortable, private and well-appointed, as is the whole property. An enjoyable stay in a great city."  Peter & Jean - July 10

Cream Gables is proud to be shortlisted in the hosted, accessible and B&B categories of the 2010 TakeABreak Awards. Check out Cream Gables on Takeabreak.com.au
