Total relaxation just an hour north of Perth
  • Front of Woollybush Guest House
  • Relaxing by the pool
  • Fun in the spa
  • Back lawn, pool and spa

Woollybush Guest House, an “Adult Retreat” nestling in 3 acres of tranquil bush, invites you to relax your body, ease your tension and forget your stress. From the moment you drive through the gate you’ll soak in the peaceful ambiance of this ‘Gem in the Bush’.

Chloe the Joey, joins your hosts Phill & Annette McKean in welcoming you at the front door and after showing you to your room, you’re invited to join them on the patio to enjoy a wonderful homemade afternoon tea.

You’ll find your room has a wonderfully comfortable bed, soft fluffy pillows and the softest, silkiest Egyptian cotton sheets. What’s more, to allow you to sleep at a temperature to suit you, there’s a doona, minky blanket and cotton blanket, as well as reverse cycle air-conditioning and a ceiling fan.

Guests are welcomed in the main living area, or if privacy is preferred the Guest Lounge (complete with tea/coffee making facilities) is set up just for them. An LCD TV/DVD player and extensive DVD library are all available for guests , or relax with one of the available books, magazines, enjoy a board game or a game of cards.

In our tranquil corner of the world, you can relax in the spa and let all your tensions ease out of your body, lie back on a sun lounge or refresh with a dip in the pool. Wander along the bush path... stopping for a seat on Phill’s home-made bush bench and listen to the local bird life, you’ll feel like you're alone in the world, when in fact, you’re only an hour’s drive from Perth.

There is a multitude of experiences in the surrounding area, with something for everyone: boating, river cruise, fishing, swimming, walk trails, 4X4 tracks, golf, bowls, tennis, mini golf, wineries, olive farms, honey making, to name a few. Gingin Discovery Centre & Observatory, Lancelin, Yanchep National Park, Two Rocks, Pinnacles, Cervantes and New Norcia are all just a short drive away.

Nurturing people is what Annette loves to do, so when meal times come around you will be spoiled! Breakfast, especially, is an event rather than just a mere meal – you’ll be treated to both a savoury and a sweet dish, as well as cereal, fresh fruit, fruit juice, tea, coffee and toast with all the usual accompaniments.

Relaxing two course evening meals are available by request and any special dietary requirements you have are catered for. Served at our dining room table, guests and hosts enjoy laughs a plenty while exchanging their interesting life stories.

Providing good old-fashioned friendly service is what we do best here at Woollybush, with a few unexpected extras thrown in, and our past guests will testify that you would travel very far indeed to find service to surpass that at Woollybush.

Our motto is “Arrive as a guest – leave as a friend” and as our new friends bid us farewell with a hug – we know we’ve achieved our goal.

Woollybush Guest House is proud to be shortlisted in the 2010 TakeABreak Awards. Check out Woollybush Guest House on takeabreak.com.au
